This here is the outside view of the Clinic. It is not very big but can hold lots of injured people and knights, given that it has a second story. When you enter the building, there are cots lined up against the walls with tables in between. Upstairs is where you will find the Nobles and higher ranked people if they are hurt, but if they are seriously hurt they may leave them on the first floor with a curtain surrounding their cot.

Meluna watched him lie back, cup still in hand and stiffened when he spoke.!2'The Kingdom was in danger?!2 She sat in the chair next to his bed as she listened. All sense of peace seemed to leave her as Jscque explained that a Kingdom in the north was preparing to attack on her follow people. She bit her lip. She needed more stock in her store so the knights had supplies for what was to come. The queen needed to be notified. The wedding would be postponed.

She met his gaze when he looked at her and ignored the fact that her horse may need tending to or that her shop was an open sale to thieves. She stared hm square in the eye and slowly balled her hands into fists, clutching her pants legs fabric and said firmly in a low whisper,!1You have to get back on your feet. This message cannot possibly wait until your health has recovered fully. There wont be enough time to prepare for battle by then.!1She stood upright and headed for the door.!1I will prepare Thistle for the ride to the castle.!1

His eyes met hers as she took in the news of what was happening around the Kingdom. Their Kingdom was by far the biggest, but you can never be too sure. He took another sip of the water before placing it on the ground and slowly pulling himself up being sure not to go to fast. He noted what Myrtle said, but he needed to console Meluna. !1It is alright.!1 He reached out and gently grabbed her clenched fist. !1Calm down Meluna. The Northern, well... actually the North-Western Kingdom has to go around a side of the island and cross the channel and with the weather that has just passed, Je suis sure the water is too rough.!1 He couldn't deny it though, the word needed to reach the King and Queen and Meluna wasn't going to stop now knowing what the message is. He released her wrist and nodded for her to get Thistle ready, but he did not tell her that he would be walking, not riding.

He turned to Myrtle, !1Can you wrap my stomach up with something stiff to keep it from moving around to much?!1 He knew she would most likely deny, but he surely hoped she would understand. !2After I deliver the message I can rest easy in the barn with Beau.!2

Meluna paused when he grabbed her wrist in hers. !2Calm down Meluna. The Northern, well... actually the North-Western Kingdom has to go around a side of the island and cross the channel and with the weather that has just passed, Je suis sure the water is too rough.!2 Distance meant nothing to her. They would be here one way or another. He had released her and she went outside to ready thistle. The day was sunny and Thistle seemed to enjoy himself in the sunlight. He whinnied as she approached and patted the side of his neck. She checked his saddle bags and was pleased to know nothing was taken. The road was muddy from all the rain, but the ride to the castle would be of no trouble, so she thought. She went back inside and left the door ajar to find Jocque asking Myrtle about something for his waist. Meluna dared to tap the old crones shoulder and find her dead asleep. She sighed and reached for a bound of bandages from the counter Myrtle had used before and went back to Jocques side."Alright, take off your shirt."She demanded."I will dress your wound and then we must be off."

He watched as the woman did not hear him and was fast asleep. !2I shouldn't bother her anyways with all this trouble...It was my own fault.!2 His thoughts started to consume him before he heard a voice directed to him. "Alright, take off your shirt. I will dress your wound and then we must be off." !1Err...d'accord!1 He was reluctant, but slowly he pulled off the shirt she gave him and set it on the end of the cot. His abdomen wasn't that awful shade of purple anymore, but a huge bruise was there now. He grimaced and looked away to the other side of the little Clinic waiting for Meluna to start wrapping. !2What will the Queen and King think of this...!2

A young boy donning brown leather armour and a dark hood walked in the shop. He seemed no older than fifteen, judging from his soft, boyish features and less impressive height. He pulled down the hood and he saw a bruised shirtless man. !2I must have come at a bad time....!2 he thought, frowning slightly. He tried to pay no mind to this, and he said, deliberately lowering his voice, !1Uh, hi. I'm looking for work.!1 He paused briefly. !1...did I come at a bad time...?!1 His head was slightly tilted when he asked the question. Maybe it wasn't such a bad time, but he was fairly sure it was.

Meluna began the work as soon as Jocque had his shirt removed. It was then that she heard the voice of a young man. Meluna turned to the side slightly, bandage in one hand and the other on Jocques shoulder to steady him. She was relieved to look away from Jocques bruised stomach. Her eyes lit up immediately."Hello there." She greeted. She tilted her head at his statement."A job you say?Plenty of work to be done at the Baazar."She turned back to Jocque and continued to bandage his stomach."Never seen you around here before, where you from?"She didn't look over her shoulder, she simply continued her work waiting for an answer.

He kept staring into space, unsure whether is was from everything that has happened or just out of tiredness or shock. !2How can I be so careless..!2 He shook the thought away knowing why he was in such a rush. !2Beau...I hope she is alright.!2 He turned back to Meluna, who had begun wrapping his mid section. !1J'ai besoin de vérifier ma cheval!1 He shook his head letting his bang wave in front of his face. !2She doesn't speak French...!2 !1What I said was, I need to check on my horse too...I wonder how she is doing.!1 His brows crunched together mad at himself for not remembering what happened to Beau, whether she was alright or not.

He looked up as the door opened and in stepped a young boy in leather armor. He made Jacques think of a knight and he smiled. The boy was looking for work which made Jacques even happier and showed he had good work ethics. !2He is started off young.!2 After Meluna addressed him, he nodded his head to the boy, !1Bonjour Monsieur.!1 A pain ached in his abdomen, but he refused to show it and instead looked across the room again hoping Meluna wouldn't see it either.

The brown-haired boy nodded, then he raised a brow when she mentioned a Bazaar. Where was that? He ran a hair through his short, brown hair and scratched the back of his head. He lowered his arm. He turned his head to the strong-looking blonde man, and he greeted him, as he figured the man was telling him hello, !1Hello, sir.!1 The man seemed like he'd be a fighter or something. The boy wasn't exactly sure what kind, though. Then he looked back to the woman. She had asked him whence he came, to which he replied, !1I came from a nearby village.!1 His voice's pitch raised just slightly at the beginning, though toward the end of the sentence the pitch was once again lowered.

!2I need to keep this pitch steady... 'cause I gotta sound like a boy....!2 !1I figured that, since I'm here now, I should find some work to do.!1 This time the pitch of his voice was steadier. He figured that this was more convincing. !1So, where can I find the Bazaar here?!1 She did say there would be plenty of work to find there, so it couldn't hurt to try looking for a job at the Bazaar.

Meluna stepped away from Jacque when she finished and he greeted the young boy. Earlier he had spoken in French, of which she did not understand, and she wanted to hit him but looked to the boy as he spoke.!2I came from a nearby village!2 Meluna furrowed her brow for a moment and glanced at Jacque who stared away from her. She could only guess why, but met the boys gaze.!1I see.!1She nodded to him at his wise statement.!1No one sleeps here when they've got no fair share of work to do around this town.!1She chuckled.!1The Bazaar is down the street from this place. I'd be happy to show you the way.!1She walked up to the boy and held out her hand to him.!1My name is Meluna Faronwood, the Storekeeper of this town. It's a pleasure to meet you.!1She smiled at him.

The boy was young and yet she could use his help considering her father was out on business for a while. She would be glad of this boys company for a while. She didn't hear a horse approach.!2Did he come on foot?!2 She thought he was a strong lad if he did. He couldn't have been traveling alone, but seemed he had been. So young to be on his own, she thought.

Once the pain subsided he turned back to the boy and Meluna. He felt bad for not introducing himself like Meluna did. !2How could I be so rude.!2 'I came from a nearby village' That caught his attention and he looked over the boy more closely. He didn't look like someone that would be here to cause trouble, but knowing that fact made him more on guard. He grabbed the shirt from the bottom of the bed and slowly pulled it over and covered the bandages. Having something on made him feel a bit more comfortable. He pulled his legs over to the side of the bed and pulled himself off the cot. He had to steady himself and get his barrings before he fell. !2All this laying around has made me weak..!2 He frowned and straightened up as much he could, but he still had a slouch.

After Meluna extended her hand, he did the same. !1I am Jacques Ciscre, Captain of the Royal Guard. It is also nice to meet you.!1 He glanced out the window and saw that is was sunny and it appeared to be clear. !2Good, it will make the walk to the castle easier.!2 He turned his gaze back to the young boy.

The boy tilted his head downwards for a moment, then raised his head again, and listened to their introductions. The woman was Meluna Faronwood, and the man was Jacques Ciscre. A captain, it seemed. Well, it figured. Jacques had the look of one, and he seemed to have been examining him of sorts when he said he'd come from a village not too far away. The boy introduced himself to them both, !1My name's Cyril... Cyril Laverne. It's nice to meet you two.!1 His attention was focused on Meluna, and he said, !1I'd really like it if you'd show me the way to the Bazaar.!1 That was kind of her to offer, and he appreciated it.

Meluna smiled as she found that the boys name was Cyril Laverne. She nodded to him though she noticed he didn't take her hand.!2No matter!2She thought. With introductions done, she wanted to see that Jacque brought his message to the king and queen. She turned to Jacque.!1Right then, let's get going. Time is a wasting away and your still not on a horse to the castle.!1She turned back to the boy.!1I could show you the way as we ride. You have a horse I hope.!1 She turned and gave Jacque her shoulder, leading him towards the door and hastily outside to where Thistle stood waiting for them.!1Come on,!1She called over her shoulder to Cyril.She paused in front of Thistle and grabbed hold of Thistles reins and motioned for Jacque to mount.!1Up you go.!1She smiled at him.

Jacques nodded his head as the boy introduced himself as Cyril Laverne. Cyril seemed to greatly focused on the job Meluna was offering him and where it was. !2The boy surely has a working heart. Perhaps when he gets older he can come work with me.!2 She ran his hand through his hair and picked up his leather jacket off the floor and slipped it on and buttoned it up. He didn't need everyone in town knowing he was hurt. It would only make people worried and he didn't want everyone worrying over him. He should be the one worrying about them and if they are protected or not. His head turned to Meluna as spoke and headed out the door. 'Right then, let's get going. Time is a wasting away and your still not on a horse to the castle.' He closed his eyes and grimaced not wanting to climb back on her tall her horse again. He motioned for Cyril to come with them and headed out the door closing it behind them.

He walked up to Thirstle and petted his soft nose before turning to Meluna. !1I'm afraid i'm not going to risk climbing up in the saddle again. I will walk with Cyril. It will be best anyways and its not that far away!1 He ran his fingers through the ends of hair finally realizing the color of it. He never really paid any attention to it before, but now things were becoming more clear to him. !1Please don't object my decision.!1

Meluna faced Jocque when he spoke and paused when he touched her hair. She wondered if she was blushing when she looked at him, but she couldn't hold his gaze for too long. She nodded with a sigh.!1Alright.!1She turned away from him, hair slipping form his fingers, and mounted the tall Palomino. He snorted and she smiled, reining the stallion in the direction of the castle.!1Lets go then. Queen and King shouldn't be kept waiting.!1She reined the horse into a walk down the cobblestone path. She wondered what might have been going through Jocques mind earlier. No one had ever such a thing as staring at her hair. Sure, it was albino, but she was from the Misty Mountains, nothing unusual, right? She patted Thistles neck to be sure she was still near reality.

He nodded his head in agreement. The Lord and Lady shouldn't be kept waiting for sure. He knew there weren't really getting close to each other when he left and he wondered how much they have bonded. The marring agreement didn't sit well with them, but they knew it was best for the Kingdom. !2Now.. they are going to even more rushed into this...!2 He sighed before motioning Cyril to follow along with them and started to walk down the stony road. He was still a bit on his guard around the boy, since he said he came from a neighboring village. Since things haven't been so well with the other two kingdoms, he was more on guard than ever. ...Probably a bit to much for his sake.

He had to take a few breaks and sometimes he leaned against Thristle for some support here and there. !1Thanks boy..!1 He would whisper in the stallion's ear. Soon the castle gates were in view and it felt like ages since he been in the castle hall.

Cyril looked up at the captain. So Jacques wanted Cyril to come with him? To the castle? The boy was unsure, but he nodded when he noticed the gesture. Both the captain and Meluna were going there, and he figured that he should follow for both that and because he was told to. So they were going to see the king and queen...? Was he going to see them? He doubted that, as he could tell that Jacques was on guard around him, but he would wait and see. He followed the captain and albino—wait, albino? That was a bit unusual. His attention diverted from her hair, and he just quietly followed.
